Hi and thanks for your reply. the reason i was asking was that i was contacted 3 weeks ago and they were talking about a temp work visa however i havent heard anything since. So i was looking for another company that might be able to help with this as i have been trying for a long time to get across.

If you don't mind working in the oil sands then this might interest you. It was an advert in our local (Ontario) paper for several trades including scaffolders for Kiewit Energy Canada

Not that it helps, but I worked as a hod carrier and a scaffolder in my youth.;)

Hi all thanks for your reply i will look in to the ad from paper , the company was from Vancouver but to be honest im not really that fussed because all of canada looks beautiful and its for a better life for our kids not just for money or sunshine (but that would be a bonus).

There is a few jobs in fort mc murry but the money is not that good.
