Save money on specs
Well I have to have my first pair of glasses, never thought the day would come. Off I go and get a sight test, get the hard sell from the optician for the base model of $350 bi focal lenses, $130 for anti reflection, what a rip off! So thought I would try Costco, in Canada $140 with coating - Costco in the US $80 incl the coating. Tried to find out if there was much difference, every optician I called would not give me a straight answer. So off to Washington to get me specs. Plus lots of other stuff no doubt.
Anyone had experience of Costco optical? |

Re: Save money on specs
I have heard they are good, well our local one anyway. It's where I will be going for my new specs. Avoid Sears!

Don't forget to check if you are covered through your health insurance.
Our insurance has an maximum limit of around $240 towards the costs of eye test and glasses/contacts. :) |
