Bellingham, is like a french hypermarket in calais, but instead of selling booze to brits it's milk to canadians.

And they love it really, what with all that candian dosh they get.

This happens every weekend in most places across the USA with towns/cities close to the Canadian border. Of course you have to be careful that CBSA officers dont enforce the $20 dairy limit and whack you with excess duties

Mrs JonboyE will be there in half an hour. Apparently it is quite civilized early in the morning. I hope she is not going to be rude.

$20 seems to buy quite a lot atm. They had a news report on this the other day - somebody had got video of huge pallet of super-sized milk cartons being stripped by Canadians within seconds. They didn't bother putting it in the fridge, just dumped the pallet on the floor and.. ...it's gone.

At least we havent quite developed the shopping skills that US customers display on the Black Friday sales you know the trampling of people, gunfire on the car park, fighting etc etc and thats just at WalMart
Maybe this year in celebration of the 1812 war we can have the Canadians duking it out with the Yanks on a WalMart parking lot on Black Friday.

It must be true, the guys who asked an American tourist if he had' been to the stampede'. He felt threatened and wished he had his gun with him. Mind you cannot have been much of a cop of he needed a gun to defend himself from such verbal abuse.

Prince's Dept Store in Oroville Wa built a huge paved lot years ago so shoppers from all the way up the Okanagan could park their rv's the mandatory 48 hrs and buy more booze.

I've been in a Supermarket in Florida, prior to when a Hurricane was forecast to pass through within 24 hours. It was like a scene from one of those budget disaster movies, with everyone shoving, arguing, screaming & shouting around the supplies of bottled water. Very much every man for himself.

No polite niceties that day......

Why would they, when they know the scanvengers that is Canadians will pounce on it? I saw the video on CBC news last night, and some Americans were calling for days where only them will be allowed to shop

Er...Sorry for injecting money into your economy?

Seriously, they're actually complaining to Canadians about this? Sounds like a CostCo management issue to me.

Yes, and so they should complain. I'd be trully pissed if my local store was being ransacked by cheap bastards crossing the border, leaving my choice limited, increasing my shopping times due to high foot and vehicle traffic, and possibly nowhere to park.

**** 'em.

Cheap bastards

The crucial element to this story, which of course no one has taken the trouble to investigate properly, is what are all these rude Canadians doing with 10 x 4 litre jugs of milk anyway? And where are they putting it?

In Chai tea. Or, as it is the West Coast, Chai Latte.

This bit made me laugh;
"Others have posted photos of cars with B.C. licence plates that take up more than one parking space."

So, Canadians are revealed as c**p drivers and it is especially noted that they cannot park - what other amazing insights have these Americans got that we should know about?
