Royal Visit

Got my invite and heading to Pictou tomorrow to help welcome Prince Charles and Camilla to Nova Scotia at the Hector Heritage Quay. They will tour a replica of the Ship Hector that brought the first wave of Scottish immigrants to Canada back in 1773. Then it's a private Celtic celebration hosted by local laddie Peter MacKay, Minister of Justice and Attorney General :D

Happy Victoria Day!

Enjoy yourself!

I stayed in Pictou for a bit on a job. Lovely little place. The knife factory does free tours.... worth a look!

That's an invite to keep for future generations - he'll be King one day!

Fascinating bit of history on that ship Hector. It should be fun meeting Charles, he seems much more relaxed and jolly now that he is getting on a bit.

Happy Victoria Day!

Our hearts and minds go out to you at this sad time. Condolences to you and your family.

Just close your eyes, lie back and think of England.

(Or Scotland if that's your thing).
