Rogers and BBC World

Pay Rogers an exaggerated amount of money per month for TV, internet and cell phone. Rogers has just cut BBC World from my service although I can still receive BBC Kids (never watch it) and BBC Canada (hardly worth the bother). Given that I have received BBC World for the last five years under my contract it would be an understatement to say that I am ever so slightly irritated.

Anybody else been thus deprived?

Thank you for your help. However, McAfee had the screaming habdabs when I tried to access the site, warning 'dangerous site' asking if I really want to go there etc. Wondering if I should risk it. Are such warnings normal I wonder.

Firefox add on - is it called Media hint? - works a treat for the UK players.

I can't imagine that gets considered dodgy.

Doesn't even need turning on/off like the stealthy one that would never work for me.

Bristol, can you clarify your post for me...I think this sounds like something I should like to do, but I what am I adding on from where? Many thanks.

This page should do it.

It's just a firefox add-on. Now I have it I have viewed things on BBC and ITV players.

I watched the first two episodes of BBC's The Fall.

Although it works really well and you don't have to enable it or anything, half way through The Fall it stopped and a little message popped up saying not enough bandwidth.

Nonsense, of course, but I refreshed the page and it all carried on from the same place to the end. So don't be put off if that happens.

But if that's the worst though....

Thanks Bristol. Shall try this when I have a quiet moment. If it works for you hopefully it should work for me.

This is great, I foresee a Flog It marathon. Its sort of like The Antiques Roadshow but with a money shot.

Expert, "Why are you selling these wonderfully evocative and aesthetically sensuous whimsies?"
Bloke, "See I got this camper van and the drive shaft fell apart."

Is that the one with the orange coloured bloke in it?.. He always looked like he'd do you on the price of your tat and try to slip your Mrs. one - You wouldn't have caught Arthur Negus behaving like that .

There was fat effeminate bloke and a creepy guy with long hair and a corduroy jacket, both looked like they'd bit more inclined to slip your terrier one than your Mrs. That said, the mini narratives are hilariously class orientated which leaves lots of restrained but puzzled looks. There aren't many people of colour on the programme though.
