rockets in NS?!!

Re: rockets in NS?!!
Everyone's doing it these days. As I understand it, KSC is so busy that launches are limited by their ability to track them on radar to blow them up if something goes wrong.

Whether this NS based operation can compete with the dueling tech billionaires - Bezo's Blue Origin & Musk's SpaceX - remains to be seen. Particularly since these have reusable launch vehicles. Plus principals with deep pockets.
It'd be pretty cool to go see a rocket launch though. I hope they are successful.

Re: rockets in NS?!!
Combination of a boom in satellite launches - particular if Space X & Oneweb's LEO constellations come to pass (OneWeb is 4000 small satellites I believe) - plus loss of capacity with ILS's problems with Proton rocket in Russia means that demand outstrips launch capacity at present. Which means delays to Satellite operators establishing new systems such as Iridium NEXT and Inmarsat GX. So yes, a market at present.
