Rent a 1-Ton with a 5th Wheel Hitch? (Calgary)
Is this possible?
I looked across a few websites and couldn't really see anything specific other than being able to actually rent a 1-ton, it didn't say if they have ones with 5th wheel hitches available.
Called a couple of places and either got an answering machine or a recorded message telling me to book online.
If anyone knows of anywhere, i'd be greatful for some info!

Highly unlikely. Your best bet would be to try and RV rental place, still unlikely though. Insurance nightmare, especially if you rent a truck, but not the trailer.

Yep, it's virtually impossible to do this, you can tow but just with the normal hitches unless you get them to tow it for you, which is no fun!
although the GF's dad just made a boo-boo with his truck and the trailer...so because it's no longer in mint condition, he's letting us use it...
thank god diesel is cheap at the moment...loaded 2014 F-350 Lariat and a 32ft trailer, ouch!

As you have found out it is almost impossible to rent a truck with any sort of hitch on it, we have tried in the past.
