Haha no - this one was nearer to Victoria and kingsway. Their doctors' waiting area looked like something out of 1980s time warp :S
Thanks,
I'll try again on the website. It sucks as that was nearest one to where I live but if they can't give me the proper information. It is completely differ to the UK where it is easy to find a doctor but more difficult to find a dentist - I'm guessing as dental surgery isn't covered by MSP then there is much more available places.

GP's and other medical doctors, Canada as a whole has a shortage of them, some area's are better then others, but it's not easy anywhere from what I have experienced to locate a GP.
It's especially bad when to comes to specialists in some regions, where we live we pretty much have to go to Vancouver for everything if a specialist is required, we don't really have any at all in this town.

I've had short waits and excellent treatment at the Yaletown Medical Clinic at Pacific and Drake (across from David Lam Park), a short walk away from the Yaletown-Roundhouse Canada Line. I've also had excellent treatment at Aquarius Medical Clinic on Davie & Pacific, next door and upstairs from the Urban Fare in Yaletown. The difference between the Yaletown medical clinics, and the ones in East Van I've been to, are night and day. I've never had to wait that long at any of them. You can also book ahead for an appointment if you want.

Thanks - they are very close to where I work anyway.
I will give them a call and find out about drop ins as I'm guessing they are probably not taking new patients

If it's a dental surgery beginning with M, then I am booked in there next month. Finding a dentist was no issue. However, I have given a name of a practice along near commercial that is taking patients so I will give them a call tomorrow.
What is usually the procedure for signing up with a doctor. I am guessing you need to fill in a medical form and they want proof of MSP/ your Medial number and/or extendable medical coverage...anything else?
