Can anyone recommend boarding kennels to the west of Toronto/Pearson Airport/Oakville /Milton area please? We have two small dogs...we don't want them caged...a medium size room/pen would be nice.

"No." He typed, helpfully. We drive the dogs to Shelburne, that's two hours each way for you and hardly better for us, but they stay in a heap of dogs in a house and have lots of fenced outdoor space.

Do you really mean "east of..."?

We have used the Milton location of The ORIGINAL Dogs at Camp – Cage Free Dog Boarding Toronto, GTA, Durham Region, and Ottawa Ontario but that seems to have closed down (probably to have more houses built on it...). There's another one at Uxbridge, which is quite a long way east of Pearson/Milton/Oakville

In due course we'll be looking for another option west of the GTA so will watch this thread with interest.

The original facility declined to take Charlie a second time, "excessive humping" apparently. I was quite proud of him.

After viewing several kennels we have decided on Park9. It is located near Pearson airport and opened earlier this month.

I have lots of experience of Urbandog, or rather, my dog had lots of experience of the place. That went very well so I'd think Park9 a safe bet. Good luck.

Thanks for that. My daughter took her dog to Urbandog when her pup had to wear one of those lampshade collars. She said it was rather nice and very successful.

I just checked out that place on line. It looks fantastic, but $79 per night. We don't spend that much on our own holiday accommodation! And the places we stay don't come with the option to sleep with the attendant.
