While google tells me that there are dozens and dozens of people out there with the same real name as me, using my photograph would make me instantly recognizable to every wierdo out there who used to know me... And yes there are some people who I would rather not be in contact with again. Not everyone wants to have their photograph/face plastered all over the internet Besides, just putting a real photograph up in the avatar does not mean that it is of the person posting... it could be anyone who's photograph they found on the internet and decided to "Steal" and use. It would not prevent people from trolling any more than using a "real name" would. |

mmmmm if I had to use my real name then I would probably be a little more guarded about some of the info I gave out re the personal life however thats about it.
I don't have a super duper important job that would be affected if I said something stupid / controversial online like some do - so it's not too much of an issue for me. |
