It was a side note added to the point of mail order brides (or husbands), in the situation that this elderly bloke (married at the time, living in Canada) found himself a floosie when on holiday there, he believing 'love at first sight'
Divorced his first wife, takes on the 'Aruba cutie' & life was what it was for a few years

moving on from Canada post or suggesting on other threads that qualified or skilled folks from the UK that cannot get into Canada on one of the express entry, skilled worker or LMIA class should find a Canadian & marry them so they can get sponsored in.... which I'm in agreement with.
Goes with the theme of this thread .
