Nope, still drawing a blank, but I can't watch any of those fake cop shows.

I watch US fake cops shows, but I imagine these 2 or at least one much be a UK celbrity? May not be as well known that far away from the UK.

Actually probably very few celbrities I would recognize and my brain fast enough to pull the name out, I have met a few in my years at various airlines and hotels, let just say while some celebs are indeed down to earth nice people, eh some are just jackasses and pain in the butt to have around.

Freddy Highmore was down to earth, but then he was living at our hotel for months on end so get got to know everyone, but every morning he would call to see if his call sheet had been dropped off, always "good morning, sorry to bother you, but has my call sheet been dropped by yet." but in his normal voice which his accent which threw me off a few times because everything I have seen him in, he uses an American accent.

Some you know are staying in the hotel, but they are like ghosts and you never see them, usually those are the big stars with an entourage to do everything, where smaller less known actors are more self sufficient.

Sports teams suck, few working in a hotel look foward to sports teams, doesn't matter if its high school or pro or college, something about sports teams that leaves the hotel a mess, noisy and lack of respect, and usually some violence if its hockey, in 2010 canucks players, well some were staying in the extended condo place I was working front desk, one night after the game they went out and got drunk a few did, and something happened over a lady they met, and eh they went all out fight club in the elevator, nearly had to call the cops on them.

When I was an 18 year old hotel porter a young sports team (can't remember much about them or even what sport) got out of line while checking in and made the front desk clerk cry. I was madly in love with her, and I went after the coach and gave him shit superior right in front of his players. He was embarrassed, they straightened out and no more trouble.

Turkeys.

I don't remember the last time Turkeys were featured in the flyers. I've been used to seeing them advertised at lower than usual prices around half a dozen times a year - definitely including approaching Canadian Thanksgiving, which is October 11 this year.

But here were are, in the flyer period including 29th Sept and no sign of them. My local independent would usually have had something advertised by now about their fresh ones but not a thing.

The frozen ones are in-store as usual but I'm used to maintaining a supply so that when the sales promotions come along I'm replacing the one we're about to eat, so always having the next one ready and waiting. But we had our last one at Easter thinking there would be a flyer deal in time for the next one and there's been nothing.

We just bought one so we're sorted, but the last time I paid this much was because it was way bigger than normally needed.

Is there an expected shortage?

Did you end up marrying her or did she just thank you and then marry the high school QB?

Maybe a shortage?

Processing plants have been up and down the whole pandemic, so could be possible stores can't get enough thus less willing to put what they do have on sale?

I found reports of a shortage last fall, but nothing recent, although it has been more difficult to find the turkey based raw food we usually rotate through Charlees meals as the manufactuer of said food has had trouble getting turkey and kangaroo during the pandemic.

She married a man who owned a book store, then divorced and lived with a few different partners until she died of cancer long ago. She did well, having a good career as a director, becoming something of a local hero and having a couple of places named for her.

That would make sense. We've taken to having turkey for both thanksgivings (with variations) but not xmas and then Easter. So we probably used the last three beginning with Canadian thanksgiving and finishing with Easter but no opportunity to replace them from last fall.
