Start paying a decent amount into a pension when I was a young pup

Re: Random stuff - the anything else thread
One thing I do regret doing. The airline I worked for at the time matched 401k contribution dollar for dollar up to 5k per year.
Should have at the very least put 50/month away for those 5 years. Oh well I was 19 when I started and retirement wasn't on the mind.

No, pan fried, but I had to shut it down when old Steamer phoned and said he had a moose heart for me at the club so I turned the stove off and went out for a beer, then finished up on my return. I had one, they're good. If I was going to make them for immediate consumption I'd leave the yolks so they were still a bit runny, but since I boiled them yesterday didn't do it like that. They're good hot or cold so a good picnic or bar snack, would be good on your yacht.

Re: Random stuff - the anything else thread
Just done my 'usual' (more often than not) pre-xmas order for some goodies I can't get here.
From Flowers and more Bisto chip shop curry sauce granules. Cadbury's Tiffin bar. Jacob's Fruit Club pack (only seems to be orange available here). MacKay's orange and cranberry marmalade and their whisky marmalade. Some Colman's casserole cook-in sauce mixes. It all costs too much but it's only once a year and I get a lot of use from the curry and marmalade. |

"Surely not" I thought but I said "go on then". I was thinking it's a bluff and anyway if it happens, I'm right here, finger down throat, no harm done. I misjudged the degree of intent and I didn't know then that was such a thing as sublingual pills. Given the time again I would not be flippant. |
