Evacuating his home, obviously. On the news a woman was interviewed who also had an umbrella and was wading through waist-deep water. She wasn't getting rained on like the reporter was.

The way he was standing made it look like he was waiting for a bus but there was no bus stop. I'm trying not to laugh but it's just bizarre.

I mean, you're wading around at least waist deep in water, I can't see what real difference holding up an umbrella would make, not to mention you'd likely want your hands free for a variety of reasons.

Absolutely. I wouldn't be bothering with an umbrella. I'd prefer to use my hands for balance. You never know what your feet might stumble on under the water.

It maybe to keep the sun off, but difficult to see how sunny it is in that photo.

Love is most certainly not in the air.... This forum and the Canada one have become very bad tempered of late, everyone seems to be having a go at everyone else. I'm wondering if they have put something in the drinking water. :unsure:
