I hope they brought a bottle and a present as they do have a rather notorious history of sponging.

I bet Phillip copped a feel of the bride's arse, and muttered something in her ear about "droit de seigneur..."

Oh how the story is mis-told by the foreign press. If that reporter had actually done their homework they would have reported how the newlyweds actually wrote to the palace to invite them (once they heard the Queen was attending a lunch in the building) but it was turned declined by the palace.

The couple then heard shortly after their marriage ceremony that the Queen would like to meet them, so actually the Queen surprised them!

Now I love the queen, but... when she pulled up in front of the Sea Trade Centre, (I think it was) on that Jesus Big Boat I sort of crossed over to the next balcony to get a better view, and the yacht was bigger than the 2 destroyer escorts that tied up on the other side of the dock, and when she walked off one German guy next to me said to his friend, “See, Hans, chust like I told you, she got a beige dress und a ugly hat.“

She's not as fit as Kate (the bride I mean, not the Queen).

I met Queenie years ago... actually, I nearly ran over one of her dogs when it shot into the road in front of the car (and she apologized for it!)...

Hmmmm do you think killing one of the royal corgis would count as high treason?

Me too. I couldn't believe that she did actually say "and what do you do?" I always thought that was just a joke.
