Not shocked at all to be quite frank. Doesn't matter where you are, how quiet and civilized you think it is, something like this can happen.
I would not be surprised if the orange one uses this attack as support for his current ban.

Reminds me of the one eyed captain hook 'Abu Hamza al-Masri', who is currently in a US prison in a legal fight to be returned to his prison cell in the UK

We have no idea of the status, origins, identity of the suspects currently in custody.
I'm with FL on the let's wait for solid info at the moment before going wild.

The government appeared to have backed off Suresh, 60, who lived in Mississauga, Ont. and was working as a computer engineer. The new case, however, indicates that officials have continued their attempts to remove him from Canada.
So the question begs does he have any appeals left and will Canada actually deport him bearing in mind any human and compassionate grounds to be argued about now removing him.

I was, frankly, sad that I was not more shocked to hear this news. Especially in Quebec, actually: I really hope this disgusting event now helps the PQ "charte des valeurs québécoises" brigade to understand what they have wrought, and hang their heads in shame. Regardless of who turns out to be directly responsible, and what their motivations were, Pauline Marois carries a great deal of personal responsibility for having set the wheels in motion.
