Not as bad as the Fairmont does though. They really do take the piss at times.

I'm sure that would have been it. I think it's the only road up from the old port.

Honestly, Truthfully? You're probably right; but I' m not a Qc City fan, & have managed to avoid that trek on my most recent visits.

The Montmorency Falls, & heights are, IMHO, worth a visit, if one likes history stuff; unfortunately, I don't think they're accessible at the time Tirytory will be visiting.

I was there when they were frozen. I don't remember what month it was but I don't think they can close for weather.

Access (footpath & cable car) up & down to the heights & across the bridge does - or did - close for the winter, IIRC. Of course one can still contemplate the falls in all their frozen glory ;). And the nutters ice-climbing :)!

Opening hours for cable car and all services, including parking.

December 26, 2014 to January 4, 2015: every day, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
January 5 to 30, 2015 : closed, but the site is still accessible
January 31 to March 1, 2015 : every day, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
March 2 to Mid-April, 2015 (opening date of the season depends on weather conditions)
Saturday and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Monday to Friday, the site is accessible, but no service is offered
