Because he couldn't remember one of the people he had sex with? Could happen to anyone, especially if there was booze and drugs involved and you had a lot of sex with minors. I bet Jimmy Page can't remember specific ones either.

I reckon the most embarrassing part of the interview was when he was asked why he visited Epstein and stayed in his home after he'd been convicted of having sex with a minor. His answer of 'I'm just too honorable' because he thought he should tell him personally that they could no longer be friends, rather than calling him - what an absolute idiot. As for the rest, who knows, but the way his eyes were darting all over the place when asked some of the harder questions looked extremely shifty.

He could remember he had eaten that day at Pizza Express 18 years ago so his memory cant be too bad. Makes a change from Brexit.

Yes but Ghislane Maxwell might remember something. He has to be careful when he goes for his next trip to the States.

According to some comments online I read of people that have apparently met him, he comes across as entitled and arrogant (a familiar trait amongst the Royal Family I don’t doubt).

The narcissist in him decided to do this interview against his PR team’s advise.

How can you expect someone like this that has grown up in a bubble all his life to show empathy or guilt for his actions?

If he was going to speak, I think he should have gone with a "not clever but acceptable in that era" line. His denials aren't credible and, as they unravel, he'll look worse and worse.

That's going to be a standard defence against allegations of adultery now.

"I can't have had sex with XXX that night because I remember having a pizza for tea with my kids at 5pm."

The truly upsetting thing about this is that there is still a very sizeable portion of the UK population who doesn't understand that, if you give people a life of unparalleled and unquestioned luxury, privilege and power, they will just be like the rest of us and let it go to their heads.

I've seen a couple of similar comments as if he is actually remembering that on that date as an alibi.
Being a Royal, there are probably records for official engagements that would help track things down as well as other stuff.

I daresay that if someone asked me what I was doing on a given date I wouldn't remember. But given time I might be able to say "Ah, I was on holiday in Crete on that date" or it might be close to a friend's or family member's wedding day and I would definitely know I hadn't been to London at that time, or I could look at some football results from that date and say "No, I was at Eastville" or "absolutely not, I was watching Arsenal in the Champions League final." ;)

But if he or someone else on his behalf kept a diary because that would probably be quite likely for someone like him, it would be even easier.
Perhaps for someone like him he could even get access to Amex statements from years ago or email records and track something down that way.

Of course, it's all another welcome distraction for Boris and his cover-ups and delayed reports. :nod:
