Looking online at some government fishery websites, the US says Chinook mature at 3-5 years old and average weight of 30 pounds, the Canadian site gives 3-7 years to mature and average weight of about the same.
I'd make a guess and say maybe its 3-5 years old.....
Once they mature, they return to their birth stream to breed and then die, so they have relatively short life spans compared to other larger fish species that can live decades.

It's okay for the most part, still getting used to it. The people are a little more on the conservative side compared to the LM, and based on all the liquor stores and wine stores, seems drinking is quite popular here....lol
Now just have to experience winter and see how winter is like, summer wasn't too bad, at least the 2 months of it we were here, only maybe 10 days of actual hot weather.
Picture last weekend or the weekend before when we took a drive, this was just south of West Kelowna.

BC does get a lot of storms in the winter, just gets colder here so probably more snow vs Vancouver and colder, and short days, if you like sun southern BC isn't the best place to be in winter....

It's called a 12 spotted lady beetle (or Pink Lady Beetle) - I had dozens on the zucchini plants, merrily eating the pollen on the flowers, every morning I went to inspect the flowers I'd see all the newly hatched ones.. then as the day went on the adults came out, nibbling on the odd aphid when the flowers closed for the day
