It's a great picture, but I'm wondering at its veracity? The planes are very clear yet the tower is shrouded in haze. It looks like it was taken at great distance to capture the tower head on (no perspective shift) and that would make it very difficult to capture the planes at that exact moment. In any case it's an impressive photo.

All from San Diego, all from a few years ago when I was visiting, maybe living, depends when they were taken. ( Lived there from 1979-2004 , 2009 to 2010, and part of 2012)
I miss all the coast line and beaches there, 112km of coast in San Diego, not all beaches of course, some are scenic cliffs like La Jolla where there are nice coves excellent for diving and kayaking.

A couple photos from San Diego. Taken from Cabrillo National Monument at the tip of Point Loma, looking both west towards the Pacific and east looking towards downtown, the airport in the one photo is Naval Air Station North Island. Loving the sun. Not dark and gloomy here.
