We were up there last week. Crikey there were a lot of bears around, especially near the new olympic village area. We counted 14 within a short period.
A couple had gotten out of their car at one point to take a picture of a bear cub with no mother in sight. Silly buggers
So anybody who hasn't seen a bear on the west coast (i'm talking to you Alan2005), have a drive up and head to the olympic village site. Don't forget to take some honey and a picnic basket.
