Re: Post The Latest Picture You Have Taken
I was looking to see if there was a "thoroughly deflated" Smilie but there wasn't one. The nearest I got was the one at the end of my post clearly I'm easily pleased!
We have Superstore and Safeway at home and no way do they stock that range. It was a tiny little store in Ganges on the island. It was everything else they stocked, a lot of locally made produce which also amazed me.

That's a lot of good looking cheese, maybe there's 1 section like that in the grocery stores here (plus 2x the space for cheaper domestic), but not all three pictured. I got dragged to the Richmond Market and saw the Saltspring cheese, but it's out of my budget. I got a nice Camembert this week half price ($6) and a large brick No Name old cheddar for $6.97 so I'm set for a while. Bbq cheddar bacon burgers tonight and J'm going to try the bbq veggie basket thing I got at Value Village this morning.
Staying on topic, the last picture I've taken; there were a couple of pilots who flew around the prairies from the 1940's to the late 60's taking pictures of farms, then selling them to the farmers, enlarged and colour tinted if desired. I saw this one this morning in the Salvation Army store. It was $5.99; if I knew whose farm it was I would've bought it. I probably should have anyway because of historical interest, and because it probably has a $100 antique value.

Some old ones I found from 2012, Port Hope, Ontario when I lived there. Fall/Winter 2012.
Last 2 were taken around July/August 2012 in San Diego, California.

The Weather Network has the place getting 55% of our average annual snowfall.
Kelowna is even better at a third of course.

San Diego is better then Vancouver as well in my view as well. I haven't found a major city in Canada that offers what San Diego does, but they are not located in the right geographic locations.

Re: Post The Latest Picture You Have Taken
Port Hope just has nice look, nice downtown, and easy access to amenities, where Squamish has a crummy downtown that is way overrated, a crappy beach that has never really been turned into anything when industry left and it was cleaned up, and difficult access to amenities as there is no train, no public transit and requires a 55km+ drive.
I was comparing both based on a variety of criteria.
Port Hope was friendlier as well, Squamish for a small town is very unfriendly, but I found the parts of Ontario I met people in friendlier overall when compared to LM of BC.
