Re: Post The Latest Picture You Have Taken
I got double-lucky yesterday, while watching a musk rat scavenge around, I spotted a rare white-nosed land-locked seal stalking the rat. Then it pounced, just as I was photographing it! Not sure if the seal got its dinner but hope you enjoy the dramatic photos!

I have an ethical issue. These little fellows are happy as err, ducklings in the pool right now, but there's no way for them to get out until they learn to fly. Should I fish them out with the leaf rake, or let nature take its ugly course?

Can't you put a plank or an old door or similar on the steps so as to form a ramp?

I caught what looks like a mountain lion hiding in the thick grass earlier this month

I can't be sure but it doesn't look like a mountain lion to me, it could be the lighting but it looks a lot like those very small dogs that gentlemen who are "good with colours" favour...

Canada certainly is full of animal "curiosities", which are rarely reported by the press. My guess is the TV and newspaper companies have been ordered by higher powers to "avoid scaring the shit out of the general public".
Let this be a warning to those seeking to relocate to these parts; that such dangerous, vicious, blood thirsty animals are lurking in nearby back yards, waiting to strike at any moment

I managed to tame this 5 foot wolf a month ago. Now it lives in the house.
