Re: Post The Latest Picture You Have Taken
My husband still vividly remembers the day we brought my Spitfire home from Calgary , in march, in minus something or other, no hat no gloves, just a warm sweater, he wouldn't take my coat or hat, even though I was in a navigator with heated seats and a heater that worked lol

A couple of places that I passed on my recent 7,000 km magical mystery transcon jaunt from Nova Scotia to Arizona.
The Salt Flats are west of Salt Lake City beside I 80.
The other "joint" is on Hwy 395 in Johannesburgh, CA.

I can't open the attachment from here but, if that's the sign that says, roughly, "don't drive on the salt flats, you'll get stuck". That's advice one should heed.

The sign is about speed records set at the flats. 622 MPH is the highest listed. I think recently that has been exceeded? Thinking of taking the Healy down?

That looks nice and cozy.
I remember going to school and passing cabins with workmen sitting inside having a cuppa waiting for suitable conditions to work in. ie no rain. I thought a job like that would be nice.
So, that cozy plane. Ever think about taking a nap and waking up in some other city or country?

Unless there is a live animal in the hold, the pilots tend not to keep it heated.
