Poor Old UK, A Night of National Mourning
Dear all
Iwrite to you on a very serious issue and hope that the UK, will recieve sympathy from all you ex-pats.
I predict there will be a national disaster about to unfold this evening sometime after 8pm UK time.
The cause of that disaster will be a ex-dustman, his crime is simple a crime against humanity. Andrew Abrahams, Andy to him chums and there will not be many after tonight is the UK's entry in this years Eurovision Song Constant and I reckon will do even worse that Scooch last year !
That aside bring it on and Please Sir Terrance make my last Eurovision Song Contest in the UK, the campiest and most chessy ever !
For those who have not heard Mr Abrahams ( his claim to fame was an ex factor reject, well runner up !, but we all know there are no prices for 2nd place - Chelsea fans especially know that !!!) Here it is !!

Is Eurocamp dead? Im memorium of Dana International, Abba, Brotherhood of Man, Bucks Fizz, Sonia . Ah those Haycion days !! And of course Bardo (Those dungerees !)

Scooch last year were abysmal!!! At least Andy can sing in tune! LOL.
We always watch every year just for Terry Wogan's brilliant comments. Mind you, OH's comments can get worse as the show goes on as well, with the more beer he drinks.

How is it that I'm still in the UK and knew nothing about the Eurovision Song Contest being tonight or that Andy Abrahams was representing us (and I like Andy!)??? Doesn't bode well for him if there has been such little publicity!

We got hammered because of regional voting. The fact that the UK's song was forgettable didn't help.

Regional voting has been an issue for years and years ! It was mainly down to an appauling song , No gimmicks (You gotta have a gimmick!) the Russians gave us ice skating and a very average performace by our entry !!!

Regional voting has been a feature of Eurovision for years. It's common to all programmes of that sort, which is why Tommy Douglas was voted Greatest Ever Canadian and Eva Avila won Canadian Idol a couple of years back.

All the moaning(!) about the UK's entry skips lightly over the fact that it completely forgettable. Passable enough on ITV on Saturday night, perhaps, but not really cutting the mustard for Eurovision.
What the UK needs to do is out-whack everyone else. Latvia had pirates, Ireland had a turkey (they weren't even in the final, but even their song was far superior to ours) and Croatia had a geriatric rapper. Get Rolf Harris and his wobble board out there!
