Have you people never been on an aeroplane in America? People don't get what they deserve, they get what they negotiate.

Re: PM Boris
Johnson was faced by an ITV reporter who tried to ask him about the 4yr old who had to wait for 4 hours lying on coats on a hospital FLOOR for 4 hours yesterday, he blustered etc as usual, then asked the reporter if he could see the picture again, he took the phone and was studying the picture, then he pocketed the phone and went to walk away, the reporter had to ask for his phone back.

Re: PM Boris
So there you have it.
In the UK election arena, we have...
In the Red Corner. Jeremy Corbyn, a notable opponent of Blair's Iraq catastrophe, an active anti fascist, an anti apartheid activist, member of CND and advocate for a united Ireland. In fact on the face of it an all round good guy.
In the Blue Corner, Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson, educated at Eton and Oxford and generally accepted as an upper class buffoon, womanising PM.
So why isn't Corbyn favourite in the upcoming election?
The UK voter doesn't care what you are, what you've done, who you are or whether you've got horns growing out of your head.
Orwell would have understood what's happening. It's all about building the windmill, Corbyn would be Boxer and Johnson would be Napoleon. The windmill is the Brexit dream. It's all about now.
If Johnson wins this election it'll be because others haven't a clue what it's been all about and those that have won't have wanted to compromise their ivory towered principles.
Democracy in action.
Don't ya just luv it?

Re: PM Boris
Corbyn is not the favorite because:
- he's personally unlikeable
- he's indecisively and ineffectual
- he's offended too many people, even compared with Johnson
- the public, aided by the Mail/Express, have an outdated view of the Russian menace
As a matter of strategy, he's failed to adequately point out that Johnson will not "Get Brexit Done" and it is, anyway a bad idea to do it, Nicola Sturgeon has pointed these things out so I think we might see her results as an indication of what another Labour leader might have achieved.
That said, it's not done yet. Inshallah, Johnson and his back up may both lose their seats.

Re: PM Boris
Johnson's "disconnect from the EU, align with Trump" approach is being considered for its impact on the NHS in a purely financial way; will sections of the NHS be privatized, will people still be able to afford medicine? The anti-Johnson forces should, as well, bring into the debate the extent to which Johnson might allow medicine in the UK to become politicized. An objective of the Trump administration is the repeal of Rowe v. Wade, hence the supreme court's indulgence of voodoo medicine bills in Kentucky and Pennsylvania. This objective is motivated by ideology, advocates want to apply it everywhere in the world. It's not at all a stretch to think that a free trade agreement with the US would have a nutbar dimension.

In the hope of a hung parliament I’m voting labour, also, there should be more madcat ladies in the commons.

Re: PM Boris
Well it all went pear shaped for May when she had a good lead, but I really think that the UK electorate just can't bear the thought of another tranche of Brexit angst. Even so, having lost DUP support and the likelihood of decimation in Scotland, Boris will have to do well in England to establish a workable majority. It may yet end up hung... the question will be who'll be left hanging along with it.
So the next election, might be sooner than anyone wants.

Re: PM Boris
I'm not a fan of Dianne Abbott but how anyone can think she could be demonstrably worse than the previous 4 holders of the Home Secretary office I can't imagine.... Priti Patel, Sajid Javid, Amber Rudd and Theresa May. All of them absolute disasters and out of their depth.
