Yep, I brought him home from hospital yesterday.

For anyone moving to Nanaimo, I can recommend an excellent vet :blink:

Not sure, he came in with a slightly wet looking eye just before Christmas, by boxing day I was convinced he was going to die so took him to the emergency vet, they said he had an abscess in his third eyelid & we went for 'best case scenario', a week of pain meds, antibiotics, drops etc. ... took him back the day before yesterday and she said she couldn't feel the globe any more & it had turned to mush :( removal was the only way as the abscess was forming inside his head. The vet seems to think it was a fight with another cat or maybe a raccoon :unsure:
