Resistance isn't always futile. You can just ignore the targeted stuff.
I'm bemused at why I've been "targeted" with the dog food! |

I'm bemused at why I've been "targeted" with the dog food! I assume its because from time to time I buy some apple sauce from the baby food aisle as it tastes better then the stuff in the normal aisle. |

We get targeted coupons from another store (they say they are tailored to our needs) that includes mostly offers for baby things like diapers.

Relationship marketing. Have you been looking at offers of cheap cuts of meat or anything involving St. Hubert?
I DO understand the point you're making about relationship marketing.

I could never understand how the PC Points system worked as to be beneficial to me. So we got to the point where we don't even carry the card anymore because I couldn't see any benefit. With other store cards you get some sorts of price discounts if you have the card when you're in store (you see stickers on the store shelves where the goods are) and use it but that doesn't seem to be the case with PC.
Like you, I'd be grateful if anyone could say the benefits of using it and how it actually works. S |

My PC points turned my $300 Christmas shop into $10 as I used my collected points. Well worth having. You have to load your offers each week though. I've not got the app, just the card.
Then my app went wonky, & Souvy started me digging out my tinfoil hat ;). |

Up until this week I would have heartily endorsed PC points, because yes, it's been rather easy/painless to collect then redeem points as $$ off grocery shopping without too much effort.

What do the PC Points entitle you to in the end?
