passport Renewal?
 

Probably been done to death somewhere but how does one renew ones British Passport from Victoria BC, ( as a Permanent Resident of this fine nation)?

Yup, send it off to Washington DC. A few things of interest for you. If it's still valid, or just expired, and your appearance has not drastically changed since the last passport then you will NOT need to get the photo's or the form counter-signed.

Make sure you send it recorded / trackable / insured. I think they recommend UPS, and I know I certainly sent it via UPS and said I needed to send off the passport and they knew exactly what was needed.

I can't PM yet (it seems I need three posts first). Just a quick one to say hi! I note from your website that you seem to spend some time out on the water so thought it worth mentioning that my father Runs Oak Bay Cruising Club (As in sailing) out of the marina. My wife and I have applied for PR (early 2010) and are looking to move to Vic from the Algarve later in 2011. Maybe we'll catch up one day!
