not sure, round to Flogs brothers tonight so that will be nice, probably not much during the day, bit of shopping maybe

A quiet day may be in order I think, a bit of housework then see if I can track some some friends for lunch.

They are back a week on Monday, but I should have changed the locks by then and can hide under the bed

Been here since 2005, so old hands now :)

Regarding llama talon trimming...it's ok - Charlie's quite bidable if you blindfold him  and he's a real softy at all other times:

Morning?? Well, I suppose, technically... I guess I'd better turn in soon (12:45am - oops!)

Nah - he's a babe and the brute-force struggle with him once every couple of months is WELL worth his gentle interaction with my 2 boys on a daily basis...not something they'd have experienced in a 3-bed semi in Chester, lol!

You can use llama fleece but it feels like a brillo-pad when compared to our alpaca! We only have one of each so give it away (as I wouldn't have a clue how to process it) but the alpaca fleece feels soooooooooooooo soft and apparently is great for people who are allergic to the lanolin in sheep-wool.

I actually liked Chester, but like most of the UK, it's crowded, and when you compare equivalent priced properties (we're out in the sticks here) there's no competition...!

I was stationed in Chester for a while back in the day and enjoyed the town and the area around it but as you say very crowded.

Thanks I thought you could use their coats for something useful!

I don't know if I'd ever have thought to buy a llama but the animals came with the property. You're right - llamas are definitely quite different to horses - and far easier, in my opinion. They're generally aloof, whereas our equines (pony and donkeys) are much more "in your face"...

bit more than the fridge freezer being chucked in:lol:

Your right, horses are lovely I had them for 10 years, but very hard work and time consuming, liking the idea of Llamas! Do they live out all year round?
