The best thing i've seen in a long long time. Been riding lots recently but really want to try my hand at barrell racing so when daughters been and gone will hook up with some friends who do it to see what its all about!

Just felt right t home there yesterday - some poor bull rider got stomped on though - quite nasty though he was ok as the annoucer told us later on in the day

Re: The Pass Inn and Pass Out

sorry butch i don't but if you go onto the half mile of hell chuck wagon site it has all the heats etc from day two etc - may take some trawling through but the announcer says it during one of the races.

They only had 2 more riders after this poor chap - the others kinda backed out in sympathy - this bull was a beast.

If I was a young guy then I would most definately want to be an outrider - maybe in another life eh!!!!

Did you know annually more animals are destroyed from Chuck wagon injuries than rodeo events

Re: The Pass Inn and Pass Out

doesn't suprise me actually. I suppose that in England for the majority of the time horses are 'precious' - it takes some getting used to as dbd has said before that over here they are working animals - more so than over there.

Thats not to say that these guys don't love their animals but they are to a degree disposible for the sake of the sport.

think if i remember rightly the barrell horses are one of the few that the owners don't "loan" out in events

Although being a complete novice to the whole rodeo thing i could be completely wrong!!!!!
