despearte housewives - yes!!

I think a lot of it is that the majority of the move, packing, house and school choice is left to the wife and hence we are on here - particularly in susan - helping each another as yet another bloody crisis hits us!!

WHY CANT LIFE BE EASY AND PEOPLE BE PLEASANT SOMETIMES!!! JUST SOMETIMES - am not asking for all the time!!

Ask yourself this question...If the people acutally posting and chatting to eachother in these type threads didn't get something out of it then they wouldn't bother now would they? Let them let their hair down and chatter..there is enough stress in the immigration process as it is surely...
The way I see it is that the moderators must be OK with these kind of threads and also as someone so rightly said...they used to hang out in the lounge for this kind of chatter BUT (Big but) they wanted to hang out more will fellow Canadian interested folks...and thats the point isn't it..
You have just added a reply about it being like over hearing conversations at a bus stop..but surely there is a difference in that in that circumstance you have no choice (well not if you still want to catch the bus) but on here you can just decide to ignore the thread instead of keep posting on it..

I am not having a go at you becuase thats not my way...I just replied to one of your posts on another thread (online courses) where you made some really good suggestions..
I know these threads aren't everyones cup of tea but there is always the choice to just ignore them...and I really would like to urge anyone who doesn't like them to just ignore them..
Just my thoughts for what they are worth:)

If I am right in understanding the meaning of this then can I get myself a pint of guiness now?;)

May be 2 or 3 http://bestsmileys.com/drinking/5.gif

tell you what - not teaching each night and just keeping it up with ice on has really helped!!

but I feel like the size of a house without the excercise!

Hi

Hello from Kelowna, and a big help!!!!

Any suggestions how to get blue biro ink off a Chinese rug, and a dog's paws?? Dog got hold of a pen and chewed it. Google suggests hairspray, dabbing, water and more dabbing.

I've got to get this sorted before my OH gets home or the dog's on the barbecue later.
