we had a viewing yesterday - but also neighbours want to rent it so thats a fall back

Offer ok for current climate, figure we had in our minds plus the huge benefit of being able to stay put and rent it back from our friends whilst we wait for the move, this alone saves £ and stress:thumbup:

Congratulations.
We are dependent on my husband's job, he's in market research so we have to stick to a city really, so we are looking at Vancouver or Calgary. We are still waiting for our visa been in the queue about three years.
