Very sorry to hear that, mate. Those kicks hurt, even if you know they are coming.

I won't be in the Yard but I'll tip a virtual glass.

Sorry to hear that and thoughts & condolences. That the phonecall is inevitable in some form or another doesn't make it any easier. I'll have one for you and another for your father on Friday.

Okee, reservation made for 6-630ish for 13 people, under my name. (PM if you don't know it.)

I'm aiming to get there probably closer to 6 than 6:30.... might be a bit earlier, depending which train I get and how my day goes, if anyone wants to get together beforehand, or just generally head over there early-ish!

Looking forward to it!

It is. You are never prepared and it is always too soon , no matter what.

Condolences to you and your family Oakvillian. I hope the final farewell goes well and the weather is kind for you all.

I work round the corner so will probably be in the area having a couple of warm up drinks.

I don't know your name but I'm assuming the reservation is in the library area so I'll find you.

Don't know if you counted me in the 13. If not, do please add me . I'm a better drunk when I have a seat!

We won't be there until prob 8pm as we have to come down all the way from Alliston... Is the library an obvious place to find? I get intimidated in situations like this and need to feel as much in control as possible

Sorry to hear this... I know the feeling very well. Hope it all goes as well as it can over there.

As you walk into the pub, the library is straight ahead and off to the left, up a couple of steps, I think

Yes, that's where it is (unless it got moved; I haven't been there for a few years).
