Here's the latest we have on the attacks in Paris:

Dozens of people are dead after multiple shootings in the French capital
Between 60 and 100 people are reportedly being held hostage at the Bataclan arts centre

Three explosions were reported outside a bar near the Stade de France, where France were playing Germany in a football match
French President Francois Hollande has declared a state of emergency and closed the country's borders
Paris authorities have asked people to stay indoors

I did. I also didn't add that he also said law enforcement are storming an "establishment" in Paris at the moment...

The army are on the streets; several sources saying one of the explosions near the Stade de France was a suicide bomber.

What's going on in Paris tonight is tragic, lamentable and unforgivable, but please don't forget all the things which go on in North America (yes, mostly the US) every day.

And please don't forget why all this is happening in the first place.

Please enlighten us as to why this is happening in the 1st place. Are you suggesting this stems from a certain US President allowing US forces to kill persons within several countries and supported by their Allies like France, the UK and Canada amongst others?

Remind me again when in North America 60+ people were killed, hostages taken, bombs detonated, all in the same night, by many gun men with AK 47's and a state of emergency called, as it is eluding me for the moment?

And don't forget the 44 killed and many others injured by suicide bombers two days ago in Beirut.

To all those making witty comments, grow up. People died today, but hey if you can use it to make a funny comment then what is the harm.
