Overcrowded Britian

Re: Overcrowded Britian
It's not very accurate. Netherlands for instance has twice the population density of the UK. That's not even taking into account small principalities like San Marino, Monaco and Gibraltar etc that are denser than both, but they're pretty much just cities not lands. Then there's Malta.
Even the text description is wrong as Japan has 873 per square mile, the UK has 673. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...lation_density |

It's almost like the Greens and the BNP got together one night and decided to do a youtube video.
EFD = The group is a coalition of ten political parties – the largest being the United Kingdom Independence Party |

They switch from talking about "Britain" to "England" to make their point on density... The video is produced by EFD which should tell you all you need to know about it's intent.

Re: Overcrowded Britian
We could do with shipping a lot of "indigenous" British people out and bringing in more immigrants, IMO.

Re: Overcrowded Britian
From what I remember, there's something like an acre of land for every person in Britain. The government just prohibits Britons from living on most of it.
You only have to look out of the window while flying there to see how underpopulated most of the country is. |

Re: Overcrowded Britian
I think I read somewhere, that if the entire population of the world lived at the same density as NYC, we would take up an area the size of Texas.

What's a few years ago? There are certainly more than 54 million in the UK, probably closer to 63 million now.
