old british paper driving licence in Quebec?
I am starting a new job in Quebec.
I have an old paper UK driving licence. What would be the best move regarding driving licences? Would it be better to get a UK plastic card licence? Or an international licence? I'm not a seasoned motorist=so any advice would be appreciated. |

Check out the SAAQ site for details to be sure.
http://www.saaq.gouv.qc.ca/en/index.php You can drive on your UK license for 3 months I believe before you are required to have a QC one. It's a nightmare trying to get through on the phone to make the appointment though! :frown: I have been trying for ages on and off to get an appt for the OH. The one time I got more than a busy tone I was put in a queue for over 45 mins and had to hang up because I was dying to pee! :sneaky: |
