Don't think it's quite what you meant but I am English and I would love to be there by spring. I am getting pretty desperate.

Do you realise that when England is all daffodils and gardening Nova Scotia is still snow and a high of 5 degrees!...Well ok. it's been a high of ten these last 2 days.

just to make you feel better Lyn, it's damp and foggy here in Halifax this morning Spring still feels a long way away, although I did see some crocuses yesterday.

At last week's first pre-move-to-Canada car boot in the mild SW of England, it SNOWED twice This week, with fog forecast, it bl@*)y well rained. Still - made £60

Deer in the garden and no ice on the ocean, double figure temperatures for a few days. Caught a glimpse of a flurry this afternoon though.

I'm loving this weather - as long as it is not in the minus figures and I don't have to spend 30 mins dressing the kids in warm clothes just to go to the post box then I am happy! It has been quite warm over the past week - even had my first beer evening on the deck last Friday!

Just need a BBQ and outdoor table and chairs now...!!

No idea what you guys are talking about - had highs of plus 25 in Alberta Saturday and Sunday.

We skipped Spring and went straight into Summer!!!!!!!


Although on the flip side we have been forecast 4cm of snow tonight
