Nova Scotia, HELP!!!!
 
We have finally decided that Nova Scotia looks ideal for our family. We have had a reply from Connors Transfer (Haulage Company) regarding an interview when we do a reccie trip early next year. Is there any one who has had any dealings with this company or knows of any other trucking companies in NS that may offer short haul work. Any help or advice would be immensley appreciated. :unsure:

From the research we have done immigration agents seem to be extremelly over priced, so glad we took the advice from people who had already posted on the site. Wont be touching one with a barge pole.

Just wanted to say "HI"! I haven't heard of them, nor do I know of anyone else! So completely unhelpful I am afraid! Glad to hear your doing it all yourselves though!

I see Conners on the road however don't know them. The two largest trucking companies in Atlantic Canada are Day & Ross and Midland Transport. I'd recommend you google them and contact accordingly.

Connors is a relatively small outfit. They mainly haul for Sobys, the grocery chain. Other Maritime trucking companies, besides Day & Ross (owned by McCains) and Midland (owned by Irving) are Armour, Pole Star and Sunbury (also Irving).
