First post and you are recommending a service/website? There's a whiff of troll in these parts...

I would usually suggest thebox.bz, but alas they closed their doors on 1st September *sniff*
Not sure what can / will / does replace it. Netflix + unblockus / netprotect set to the UK does allow you access to some good UK stuff, but seriously old things they won't have, e.g.; The Paradise Club, Spender, Rockcliffe's Babies.

I have been considering one of those set top box thingies that you buy, and then pay for a monthly package. I am still signed up to Rodgers until next August, so have to pay lots to finish the contact early and fear what Netflix might to to my Internet use age cap.

If you mean the set top box thingy I think you mean, it streams over the internet anwyay and will also affect your cap.

Of course there are many other websites that can change your DNS for you but I prefer unblockus.

I have used a website called unblockus for over a year now it costs me $4.99 a month and I never have any problems with speed or connection. This will allow you to watch all the home stream sites 4OD, Iplayer etc

We got an add-on for firefox, it works pretty well for BBC and ITV, not tried the others. I can't remember what it's called though, not stealthy, although that might have been what I searched for.

ITV Iplayer seems to be a bit tempramental. I find the saved bookmark on Safari brings up an error. What I do then is google ITVplayer and click through another link & it seems to work.

A quick search of Unblockus and ITV player shows there are lots of problems with that site. Speak to the customer support team they will resolve the issue.
