Shaky, true moonshine Russian vodka is the best, or perhaps worst?! I did wonder at first whether it would actually kill me, took me a while to pluck up the courage to take the first sip! I'm always happy to talk about living a thousand kms north of the back of beyond, just don't want to bore anyone

I used to have a supply of bath tub schnapps from Europe. Home made booze is frowned upon by the authorities here so it was mailed to us in holy water bottles. The regular stuff was fine, if potent, but the "herbal" version was hard to keep down.
