New Little Flying Squirrels !
 

Hi Everyone,
Sorry for the delay in posting but we have now got our home internet running and I thought you may like to know that we have now adopted two canadian kittens from the local BC SPCA.
You may recall earlier around march time we were worrying about either rehoming our UK cats or bringing them with us but luckily one of our friends said she would like to adopt Itchy and Scratchy and they now have a lovely new home in Sheffield (luckily not affected by the recent floods) .
We now have two 8 week old kittens called Harley and Phantom - already named at the SPCA home but we decided to keep the names as our surname is Davidson!
Brief summary of our recent activities - arrived in Canada 24th June and spent 4 days in Vancouver getting a car sorted out we went for a Ford Explorer, did essential electrical item shopping, met up with our shipping agents over here. We came over to Nelson BC 29th June collected the keys to our new home then spent 3 days going to canada day celebrations with all our neighbours - so friendly and welcoming - even down to lending us a bed and coffee maker until our container arrived!
The container arrived outside our house quite unexpectantly a week early on 7th July and we are now unpacked and settling in. We collected the kittens on 10th July and thats it so far!
Just need to start looking for some work now to fill in some time until I can take may professional exams. Mr FS is very happy as the Satelite company have come today to install our dish and connect us up.
Well must dash as I seem to have a kitten fight to break up - why do they like nibbling each others ears??

Mr and Mrs FS and baby FS glad to hear things have went so well for you and the container turning up early must have been a nice surprise.

Canada seems to be really working out for all you guys:)

Must be something to do with BC as mKMurrays container turned up earlier than expected and gave Sharon a right scare as they were en route via Florida :eek:
