My brother in law is one of those New Brunswick French with a Scottish name and he's had a lot of cats, and every one of them has been called Mineau.

Re: New Kittens!! Name suggestions needed!

I think it's a bit odd that pets are given only one name but humans usually have two. Quite clearly, your kittens won't have your surname but you might give some thought to waiting a bit until you see what characteristics or behaviours might be reflected in the names you choose. We initially called our wire-haired miniature dachshund "Segovia" but soon realised that his guitar playing wasn't up to par although his singing, especially at 2.00 a.m. was quite powerful. However, we soon changed his name to "Tweakey McPiddle" - very dignified and certainly reflective of his penchant for doing both.
Just a suggestion.
