My nieghbour back in the uk had two Wheaten Terriers. One was quite good natured and the other one had a nasty nature. If anyone came to visit she had to lock him away in the bedroom. Whilst visiting one day her mother answered the door and the dogs came flying out and the nasty one bit me!

The good natured one she showed at Crufts and won a few rosettes with him.

Glad to hear he's making himself at home, our Border Terrier was exactly the same when we got her at 7 months old.

Enjoy
We have a border terrier too!! I have to say that out of all the dogs I have had since I was a child he has the best temperament of all of them

Wheatens are really nice dogs. I tried to persuade my son to get one, but he prefers to get an Airedale, which are also nice dogs only a bit bigger than the Wheatens.

I am thinking I may trim up the hair in front of Toby's eyes. I know long hair on the face is how they are supposed to look but surely that's only for dog shows.

Poor pooch must have restricted vision (and it getting on my nerves that he can't see properly).

Aren't they great dogs

I've always had dogs around me all my life, Lulu is my first terrier though - she's such a great dog. I do agility training with her (hopefully start competing in the spring/summer) & Lu & I do 'Pets As Therapy' visits which she loves.

Cheers for the karma

How's Toby doing YCD
