With pleasure. I love Korean movies, I've watched dozens over the years and these are my favourites. If you like revenge movies with huge twists, these are the ones to watch.

You definitely 100% need to start off with the Korean version of 'old boy'. If you read any online reviews beforehand, be very careful you don't read any spoilers as it has a huge twist at the end that will leave you in shock.

Old Boy is actually part of a trilogy so if you liked it, the other two in the wiki link are also based on revenge with a twist. I enjoyed all three and it doesn't matter what order you watch them in.

Mother is another good one to watch.
The Handmaiden has a good twist at the end
A Tale of two sisters is a good horror movie

If you can't find them online let me know and I can PM you some download links from home.

I'm familiar with that.

It's the sound that one of my cats makes about 30 minutes after partially digesting a badly chosen mouse.

Gut's between your toes just before you fill the kettle up the day goes down hill from there.

Yeah, ok, but on the bright side, it's a bit quieter at that point.

I found a decent stream here for Old Boy.
https://putlockers.bz/movie/oldboy-2...m89/watch.html
Click on the CC button towards top right, choose English and then click check for subtitles. I chose the 1st one in the list and it worked OK.

If you want to download the torrent instead, here it is

Went to see "Knives Out" this weekend... it was excellent, really great performances all round, but Daniel Craig was having a ball. Really enjoyable film. Recommended.

So glad I didn't go to the cinema to watch the Irishman. Imagine over 3 hours in a movie theatre seat. Hit pause on Netflix twice so I could get up and make a cup of tea.

I've started it. 30 mins in and I suppose I will watch it over the next several days. Seems like a pastiche of better Scorcese gangster films.

I love this type of movie...the longer the better. Watched The Irishman Saturday night and just couldn’t get into it. Maybe it was because I watched it at home, rather than the movie theatre. It was very clever how they digitally changed the actors faces, rather than using make up/prosthetics, as the story line went back and forth in time.

Same here! We had two breaks, one to boil the kettle and one for a pee. Great movie though.

Watched the first hour on Netflix, looks good and will watch the rest but nothing is ever likely to surpass Casino. Will probably go to watch Last Christmas at the cinema in the next week. The critics all seem to sneer at it but it looks entertaining enough.

Yup hubby kept falling asleep.

I am sure if I had seen it at the movies I would have enjoyed it. Pacino, DeNiro and Pesci are my favourite actors and I love this type of film...the longer the better. The problem with watching a long film at home is you tend to keep pausing it...make a cuppa, answer a text or call, waiting for hubby to wake up, let the dog out etc etc.
