The Man Without Gravity
I'm putting this in the TV thread too as it's on Netflix.

Don't have chance to get to the cinema like I used to, so have missed out on a lot of movies, but I really want to see Ford vs Ferrari, couple of friends have seen it and they say its excellent.... I am a big motor sport fan so this sound just up my street!

Rush was last great motorsport movie I watched.....that was stupendously good.

Hopefully get to see Le Mans 66 this weekend, or alternatively, Knives Out.

Is it at the sharpeners? Or maybe at the lab being cleansed of last week's blood?

LeMams '66 is Ford vs Ferrari in US and Canada... really want to see that.

Knives out sounds good too.

As for Joker....heard a lot of good reports about it, its hard to see how you can get as good a performance as Heath Ledger, but this performance sounds at least on par....

Probably wont see any of them.....just don't get the time now... last movie I saw at cinema was "Yesterday".

You reminded me to watch Blinded By The Light so I just did. It's another good'un.

Best not to watch the trailer. It gives too much away.

Just watched it this afternoon. It is a good film. I can't get enthused by it because I really do not like Springsteen's music. Or his voice.

That's just me, I realise that I'm probably in the minority, tant pis pour moi, I'll live.

Don't read the spoilers if you haven't seen it yet.

Spoiler:
It's a feel good movie, nothing more.

Spoiler:
The car not starting scenes are quite funny, maybe #1 should have been the bust-up in town rather than outside the house early on.

Spoiler:
Springsteen has one thing in common with Bob Dylan; they're both wanchors. Again, that's just me.

Spoiler:
Although Springsteen wrote the song, I feel that there are better cover versions out there
... Earthband's album studio version is cosmic (couldn't find a suitable Youtube link) the single is there somewhere, but the long version is so much better...

A Critic
