Ok i know this is too late but yes, Hallmark in Calgary had some mothers day cards in a UK section - only 3 or 4 to choose from. I only picked mine up last night and only just got it posted - my bad!

Might be worth a look around the card shops ........ I bought a 'proper' mothers day card (with Mum on it!!) at the Carlton card shop here in Nanaimo the other day

I got her a card from Moonpig with a photo of Kai.
And last night I went to the Tesco website and ordered a chicken and vegetables meal for 5 pounds and some chocolates.
A little different compared to flowers which I couldn't find on the website.

I ordered my Mum a meal from Tesco's complete with wine and floweres a couple of years ago. This year I got her an elephant, she loves them, so I adopted one for her

I send flowers through interflora who now send me a email in the run up to Mothers Day (in the UK) reminding me to do so again.

Marks and Sparks allows you to order gifts with your Canadian credit card. Finally Canada enters the 21st Century on that front.

The point is that it's nice to be able to use our local card to pay for gifts rather than continually transfer money into our UK account.

Must have just been us then? Maybe they hate Scots and especially expat Scots who try to use dodgy Canadian credit cards?*
