Surely there is a pretty good chance that 95% of indian immigrants neighbours are other canadians of indian origin, so it doesnt really say much at all about nth generation canadians?

Maybe. But a friend of Indian origin wanted to move out of his neighbourhood to get away from all the Indian immigrants. I guess no matter what your background is, you look at immigrants with some degree of disrespect.
