Molson and Labbatts have the dubious distiction of tasting like frozen paint thinner, frozen because you need to drink it at Antarctica weather condition 1 temperatures to avoid the natural paint thinner taste.

Moosehead is about the only macro that doesn't immediately force the gag reflex while drinking.

Really? I suppose we all have different tastes, but I think Moosehead (the green bottle stuff) has that awful skunky aftertaste like Heineken that puts me off. I prefer Keith's and Alpine for macro and Pumphouse (especially the Blueberry ale http://www.pumphousebrewery.ca/) for micro. Olands is good beer too but I don't think it is sold outside of the Maritimes.
