IMO these type of matches are not worth the money or bother of getting there. You can rest assured RM will play Ronaldo and its other stars for short periods only. There is nothing to play for except an appearance fee for RM. It will be namby pamby stuff.

Re: (The Mighty) TFC vs. Real Madrid
Come again?
I'm looking forward to seeing a good game. I went to see them play against Aston Villa two years ago. The Villa players, clearly going through the motions and looking to stay injury free, were playing at about 45% capacity throughout. The TFC boys- wound up tightly like clock springs and clearly not understanding what a pre-season friendly really means (dificult I suppose when you are actually well into your own seasson) were playing at full tilt.
That was a cracker.

Enjoy the game. I'd love to see the 'punty up the park' boys play Real.

5 -1 is a decent score for TFC you'd expect the money grabbers to score way more.
on a random note, i popped into our local pharmacy the other week wearing my arsenal shirt
and the clerk was really excited to tell me he was going to edmonton to see arsenal play river plate as he and his father where big canadian gooners
i tried to tell him that Everton were playing not Arsenal but he was having none of it

Was a good night out. Ronaldo is such an unbelieveable douche bag it is untrue- so had a lot of fun booing him.
Some kid throw him a t-shirt from the crowd and he promptly threw it right back. Twat!
